Business travel is not all it's cracked up to be. As my last post stated, mommy had to go on a trip the last few days. Having one parent at home instead of two dramatically changes the family dynamic.
First, daddy is not nearly as good of a song singer as mommy. My bedtime lullabies from mommy are awesome. If Bon Jovi needed a female bandmate they would have to look no further.
Secondly, bathtime with daddy is fun, but not the same as when mommy does it.
Third, poor mommy had quite a difficult trip home. The plane bringing her back to me had some issues and she didn't get home until 5am this morning.
I heard her come in quite early, so I decided to sleep until 630 and let mommy take a little nap before we started our day together.
Luckily, the weekend is upon us and we get to spend lots of time together singing and playing.
